The IIN operates programs that engage and function across all 15 hubs. These include large-scale funding opportunities, initiatives designed to serve the entire state, and the IIN’s seed grant programs.

The Chicago State University (CSU) "Advancing Broadband Equity through Learning Intermediaries in the Neighborhoods of Chicago" (ABELINC) project, together with subrecipients Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) and University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), will implement a guided program to address the internet adoption, broadband access, and the teaching of basic computer skills in Chicago neighborhoods. -
The IIN coordinated an 8-hub project to determine the jobs and training curricula needed for Illinois' clean energy transition, and plan, develop and launch workforce development programs. -
EnergySense Resilience Center is an applied research center at the University of Illinois System that serves communities, businesses, and public agencies. -
