The largest driver of advanced research in Illinois is the state’s higher education system. The wealth of research resources is represented in the core laboratories, facilities, personnel, and services in the University systems across the state.
Most shared use facilities on the larger campuses have established mechanisms for accessing equipment, expertise, and resources.
Technical Testing Agreements: Provides a service wherein materials for analysis are submitted for specific testing and results are provided back to the requestor.
Facilities Use Agreements: Outlines terms under which external users can use specific equipment or resources.
